Introduction
Consider the book of Psalms.
There is something you should understand about the writers of the Book of Psalms before you go on. As you read carefully, you will find out how they poured their hearts out before God, being very negative about themselves or the situations they find themselves in or their enemies, about how they feel God is treating them, about how hard life is to them, etc., etc.
But after they have poured out their hearts to their God, they always end up praising God for Who He is. We find their sequence in many Psalms. First they are negative or critical or totally disheartened, but then they start praising God.
And that is okay, to be honest about yourself, your conditions, your situations, your enemies. God will see through you, if you are not honest about how you feel. Do not try to kid Him. Or yourself, for that matter. If you try to fool Him, you cannot, you can only fool yourself, not Him!!
But you should not stay there. Do not stay negative and hurt yourself irrepairably. Go on, take the first step.
